Provably Fair
In the Pepe universe, honor reigns supreme. Our Pistol games are built on trust, sealed with magic, and are, above all, provably fair.
🎩 The Game's Spell: When the dice is cast, the bullet finds its home in a secret chamber of the revolver. As players tempt fate by pulling the trigger, our bot, a mystical entity, peeks into the chamber to foretell the destiny of the brave.
🔒 Enchanted Safety Locks:
As each game begins, the number determining the bullet’s position is encrypted and cast into the blockchain.
Upon the game's conclusion, the keys to decode this number are unveiled, proving that destiny was pre-written and not twisted during the game's course.
🌀 The Question of Chance: How can one be sure that our bot isn’t weaving its own stories? How can we convince the Pepe clan that a number wasn’t chosen with cunning intent?
Enter the arcane magic of the Verifiable Random Function (VRF):
It conjures a number, which is then encrypted and presented at the dawn of each game.
As the curtain falls, the decryption key, alongside a mathematical testament of the number’s randomness, is revealed to all.
✨ The Spell's Ingredients:
Beta: The mystic number, born from VRF’s embrace.
Salt: The bot’s secret whisper for each game.
PublicKey: The VRF’s outward-facing soul.
Proof: Evidence of the number's pure birth.
Alpha: A fusion of the sands of time (UNIX) and the players' bets.
And as every spell requires a seed, our bot whispers one into VRF's ear for each game. This seed, shrouded in mystery, yet plays no part in questioning the sacred number's legitimacy.
📜 Verifying the Potion: By intertwining the PublicKey, Proof, and Alpha, one can attest to Beta's purity. With Beta as our compass, we can then unveil the bullet's chamber index, proving its randomness from game's start.
For those of wizarding inclinations, a sample VRF spellbook (prover) awaits...
